Meet the founder

The people side of your business, without the guesswork.

Progressing People is founded by Ana Hay — a People & HR leader who has spent 15+ years building people functions for founders and CEOs, and now brings that thinking to businesses that can't justify a full HR team.

Ana's story

Fifteen years in the room where people decisions get made

Ana has spent 15+ years leading HR for multi-country organisations, partnering directly with founders, CEOs and COOs to build people functions that actually work — culture, talent and the difficult calls in between.

An MBA from London Business School and years as a fractional People Director across very different businesses taught her the same lesson over and over: most work problems aren't really about the work. They're about people not feeling heard, and no one being honest about what's going on.

She started Progressingpeople.com for the owners and leaders who face those calls without an HR department behind them — the first hire, the difficult conversation, the good person who resigned out of nowhere. If you're running a business and the people side is the part that keeps you up at night, this is where you find out what to do about it.
